The Spartan softball team was knocked out of the North Atlantic Conference tournament faster than they had hoped as they lost 8-0 to Husson College and 8-1 to Thomas College on May 1.
After defeating Lyndon State College 5-1 in the first round of play, the fourth-seeded Spartans advanced to face top-seeded Husson College.

The hype is building. The players are ready. And camp can't come soon enough for the Spartans of the gridiron. Practicing all year really has these players chomping at the bit.
The last practice before camp ended with the players coming together with hands in the air shouting "family".

Mount Ida had already taken its first loss in North Atlantic Conference history to Castleton earlier this season, wearing away jerseys in the conference championship for the first time ever. In the first three minutes of the championship game, junior midfielder Jake Rick and senior attack Ryan Bartlett each scored for the Spartans.

For the first time in more than 10 years, the NBA playoffs are must-watch TV. Seriously, was anybody remotely interested when the Spurs and Pistons dominated the most mind-numbingly boring tournament in the history of man? I would rather watch paint dry or grass grow.
